愛因斯坦：宇宙中最強大的內驅力——“愛”
1980年代末，著名的天才愛因斯坦的女兒Lieserl出於對父親的命令而不是為了出版，將愛因斯坦寫的1400封信捐給了希伯來大學。一直到愛因斯坦死後20年才公開其中的內容。這一封就是他寫給女兒Lieserl的信：
“When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.
當我發表相對論理論的時候，幾乎沒有人能理解。而我現在揭露出來要傳達給人類的，更將會與現有人類對世界的誤解和偏見產生衝突。
I ask you to guard the letters as long as necessary, years, decades, until society is advanced enough to accept what I will explain below.
我要求你保護這些信件越久越好，幾年、幾十年，直到社會進步到能夠接受我下面將要解釋的。
There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us. This universal force is LOVE.
有一種無窮無盡的能量源，迄今為止科學都沒有對他找到一個合理的解釋。這是一種生命力，包含並統領所有其它的一切。而且在任何宇宙的運行現象之後，甚至還沒有被我們定義。這種生命力叫“愛”。
When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force. Love is Light, that enlightens those who Give and Receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals. For LOVE we live and die. Love is God and God is Love.
當科學家們苦苦尋找一個未定義的宇宙統一理論的時候，他們已經忘了大部分充滿力量的無形之力。愛是光，愛能夠啟示那些給予並得到它的人。愛是地心引力，因為愛能讓人們互相吸引。愛是能量，因為愛產生我們最好的東西而且愛允許人類不用去消除看不見的自私。愛能掩蓋，愛能揭露。因為愛，我們才活著，因為愛，我們死去。愛是上帝，上帝就是愛。
This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will.
這個驅動力解釋著一切，讓我們的生命充滿意義。這是一個我們已經忽略了太久的變量，也許因為我們害怕愛，因為這是宇宙中唯一的人類還無法隨意駕馭的能量。
To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation. If instead of E = mc² we accept that the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared, we arrive at the conclusion that love is the most powerful force there is, because it has no limits.
為了讓愛能夠清晰可見，我用最著名的方程式做了個簡單的替代法。如果不是E=mc²，我們接受治癒世界的能量可通過愛乘以光速的平方來獲得，我們就得出一個結論：愛是最強大的的力量，因為愛沒有限制。
After the failure of humanity in the use and control of the other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy…
在人類無法運用和控制其餘所有宇宙上的那些與我們作對的能量之後，我們迫不及待的需要另一種能量來滋養我們。
If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning in life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer.
如果我們想要自己的物種得以存活，如果我們發現了生命的意義，如果我們想拯救這個世界和每一個居住在世界上的生靈，愛是唯一的答案。
Perhaps we are not yet ready to make a bomb of love, a device powerful enough to entirely destroy the hate, selfishness and greed that devastate the planet.
也許我們還沒有準備好製造一個愛的炸彈，一個能量滿滿的裝備來徹底摧毀能夠導致地球毀滅的仇恨、自私和貪婪。
However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of LOVE whose energy is waiting to be released.
然而，每一個獨立的個體內在都帶著很細微的但有待釋放的強大的愛的發電機！
When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, dear Lieserl, we will have affirmed that Love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because Love is the quintessence of Life!
當我們學會給予和接受這種宇宙能量的時候，親愛的Lieserl，我們就得承認愛能降服一切，愛超越每一個存在和任何存在，因為愛就是生命的精髓。
I deeply regret not having been able to express what is in my heart, which has quietly beaten for you all my life. Maybe it's too late to apologize, but as TIME is relative, I need to tell you that I love you and thanks to you I have reached the ultimate answer！！”
